[INFO] Yunho And Ara Wishes Everyone A Happy Chuseok

'Heading To The Ground' leads Jung Yunho of DBSK/TVXQ and Go Ara fancied themselves up into traditional Korean apparel and wished everyone a happy Chuseok, a major three-day harvest festival and holiday celebrated in the autumn every eighth months of the lunar calendar by Koreans in Korea and the world.

Chuseok is a very well-respected time of the year in Korea so Yunho and Ara paid their respects to their fans with formal bows in their pictures. Yunho wished, "that everyone could happily celebrate Chuseok with their families." He also added, "Through the drama I'm portraying a new image so please love 'Heading To The Ground' as much the actors and staff are working on the drama."

Ara also said, "Make a wish as you watch the full moon, eat lots of delicious food and enjoy your holiday. I will be busy this Chuseok because of the drama filming but I am working hard for the viewers so please love 'Heading To The Ground'."

TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's new digital single "Endlessly Sweet" reaches number 1... no, not on the Oricon Charts but on the mu-mo chart.

Endlessly Sweet is a song for TVXQ's "Pinky" (Candies) Commercials that has been airing in Japan. Unfortunately, you won't be seeing the song on the Oricon Chart because there's no physical copy release of the single, instead it was released as a "digital only" single on September 23rd. Mu-mo is basically the Japanese version of iTunes and their music chart is based on downloads. Coming in at number 5 on the mu-mo-chart was Jaejoong's and Micky's "Been So Long" single.

At asia song festi. ….the trophy wasnt for anything, it was for the special commentaries…

a funny incident happened after the boys received their trophy. hankyung was holding it and him and chul were studying the words on the thing and then chul suddenly burst out laughing and elbowed siwon hard (who was standing to his left) to look at their “findings”.

after that SiHanChul got really excited/agitated and the 3 of them practicaly went nuts for a few moments
before chul simply took the trophy from hankyung and went over to where snsd were standing
and he exchanged the thing with the one snsd received so apparently someone had mixed up the awards and gave the trophy with snsd’s name to the SJ boys instead and chul was the only person who found out (snsd received their “trophy” way before SJ).

[NEWS] Will Kangin Continue to Make Miracles?

In the aftermath of the assault case that Kangin was involved in last week, there have been doubts over his schedule in the short term.

But there was good news for fans of Kangin after it was announced that recorded portions for his variety show, Human network – Super Junior’s Miracle on KBSDrama cable channel will not be edited out.

According to a production staff, "We aren't going to edit away Kangin's recorded portions for the broadcast. Kangin had come to the filming place very early for one of the recordings, and read over the kid's profile very carefully, showing his dedication. Although he is now involved in a police case, he is a very kind and and friendly person during recordings. It will be great to have him continue on the show in the future."

As for Kangin's schedule on the show in future, it's still very much up in the air depending on legal proceedings. The staff said, "That hasn't been decided yet. But in the event that Kangin won't be coming in for the next recording, we are making contingency plans to find a replacement for him temporarily."

[NEWS] CCTV Results of Kangin’s Assault Case Revealed!

Kangin's CCTV findings about his assault case were released today.

The police have revealed the results after analyzing the CCTV video for the past few days. The police revealed through a press release, "Kangin and the other man involved threw punches and kicked each other on the street in front of the bar. After learning about this, Kangin's sunbae came and got involved in the fight, also throwing punches and kicking."

They continued, "All 7 people involved have been sentenced with acts of violence and legal violations but they are not slapped with a restraining order and are thus not going to prison. The leader of Korean idol groups TVXQ, while in the midst of a lawsuit with their company SM Entertainment, still decided to hold their 3rd Asia Tour Concert in Shanghai on the 2nd of October, to show their united charm as five.

Even though the three members are still having the lawsuit with regards to the contract with their company, they have stated, “For the sake of all the fans that have always supported us, we are definitely going to give a complete and flawless performance to repay everyone!”

The concert is estimated to cost 88.5 billion won, which includes all stage equipment, stage tools, sound system, lighting, and flying in from Korea to China. China will sponsor the giant LED screen as background, making sure that the performance can be seen from every corner, to provide the best stage effects.

Recently, Jaejoong and Yoochun are both busy with their new single promotion COLORS ~Melody and Harmony~, which is set to be aired on TV on the 23rd of September and to be officially released on the 30th of September.

It's well known that TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's Jaejoong is very popular with the ladies in Japan. Despite not being Japanese, he was in the top 10 ranking for the "Top 10 Artists You Want As Your Lover" poll and also awarded "The Top Prince in Japan." Now, he can add another title as one of Japan's best looking artists.

On CDShop's Tsutaya Online there was a poll with the title "Most attractive Male Singer," Jaejoong came in second place with 23.9% (632,202) votes, only trailing Hotaka Yamashita (Ikimono Gakari) with 30.7% (810658) votes. Jaejoong wasn't the only TVXQ member with votes as his fellow bandmates were respectively ranked as well: Micky Yoochun at #11, Xiah Junsu at #27, Changmin at #32, and Yunho at #34. Surprisingly, another Korean artist was in the ranking as well and that was T.O.P. of Big Bang who came in at #35.

As you are reading this, Super Junior's Kangin is now probably already in Hong Kong with his Super Junior members, preparing for their Super Show 2 concert tour.

On the afternoon of 17th September, the Super Junior members, including Kangin left in 2 groups for Hong Kong, where they will perform their Super Show 2 concert on 18th September.

Although investigations into Kangin's involvement in an assault case are still pending, it was difficult to cancel this Hong Kong performance at the last minute due to contractual obligations. But with Kangin being able to travel overseas without restrictions, fans are hopeful that he is probably really innocent in the assault case.

A SM Entertainment representative said, "Although Kangin is able to go to Hong Kong for this concert, we are not able to give any confirmation about Kangin's future schedules," casting doubt over Kangin's involvement at the 2009 Asia Song Festival on the 19th.

[NEWS] Super Junior’s Kangin will not attend Asia Song

Although Kangin is now in Hong Kong for Super Junior's Show 2 concert, it has just been confirmed that he will not attend the 2009 Asia Song Festival.

SM Entertainment stated to Newsen on the 18th:

"Kangin will not be attending the Asia Song Festival. Although Kangin will not attend, the rest of the Super Junior members will continue on as planned and perform on stage."

Kangin will be returning to Korea immediately after the Super Show 2 concert is over. In addition, Hwang Jung Eum and Kim Yong Joon will be replacing Kangin for the Andre Kim fashion show after he was dropped earlier for uncertainty over his status.

Kangin who is currently under investigation for a recent assault case, which occurred at a bar in Seoul on September 16th, 2009, is claiming innocence. Details from the CCTV footage from the night of the fight were supposed to be released today, but it has been delayed as the police have said that the experts require more time.

Super Junior's Kangin was recently taken down to the Kangnam police station for questioning, regarding alleged assault charges at a bar fight, which broke out on September 16th at 3:35am.

Kangin was drinking with 1 other person (35 years old, currently unidentified), when they got into an argument with 2 other people. The argument is said to have led to a fist fight, but Kangin is claiming innocence.

The Kangnam police released the following statement:

"Currently 4 people have been booked on charges of assault. Kangin is claiming that he did not assault anyone and that he was completely a victim. However, the suspects are claiming that Kangin attacked them as well."

Super Junior’s Yesung has done a collaboration with Yurisangja's Lee Sejun to release a CCM (Contemporary Christian music)
song; this has been pretty shocking news to netizens, since idol group members seldom go into CCM.

Yesung and Lee Sejun are two of many CCM artists collaborating together to release a project album called “July Project,” which will be released on October 5th; their contribution to this album is called "세상에서 가장 귀한 이야기" ("The Most Precious Story in the World"), and has already been released online. Yesung has said, “I had always wanted to try being a Christian Contemporary music artist. So when Lee Sejun-hyung asked me to work on this song with him, I agreed without any hesitation. I also told my record label company (SM Entertainment) that I really wanted to work on this project, and they gave me permission to do so. Of course, I will not be taking any of the profits that come from this album. And I don't want a project like this to be a one-time thing, either; I want to continue working on projects like this in the future.”



Yesung has also said, "People always think I'm happy because I'm in Super Junior - but in fact, there are many difficulties that I had to face because I am a member of Super Junior. When difficult things happen, I get the support of my family and friends, but they're not always with me. And even though I'm not as faithful as I'd like to be, I trust in God and God gives me strength to overcome my mistakes and struggles. Siwon, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun also are Christians. The profits from "The July Project" will be donated an organization called “Save the Children” (an organization that works to better the lives of poor children) which will use the donations for a project called “Good Lunchbox Campaign," to provide lunch for children who cannot afford school lunch.

How heartwarming! It's not often when we see an idol group singer doing such selfless things for a good cause. Best wishes to Yesung and Lee Sejun, and I hope that many children will benefit from all the work that Yesung and Lee Sejun put into this lovely song.

Well, it wasn't an actual "party" party, but more of a jjajangmyun (black noodles) party on the streets.If that didn't sound very intriguing, listen to who attended: Super Junior, Park Kyunglim, and T-ara. Now, if you're thinking, "Why did they attend a street-party for some black noodles?!" Well, here's why.

Aside from jjajangmyun being totally delicious, Super Junior, Park Kyunglim, and T-ara were all filming for KBS Super Junior's Miracle, where their objective for the episode was to give hope to a law student, Oh Saehoon. Oh Saehoon comes from a poor family background, and despite the hardships that he endures, he holds a dream of attaining a legal/law profession.

The team had intended to give Oh Saehoon some words of encouragement during a surprise visit to his work, but it turned out that the surprise was on them. Without a planned appointment, the team was not able to meet Oh Saehoon, and had decided to just wait. However, the team soon became both hungry and exhausted, and decided to have some black noodles and dumplings delivered to them... on the streets.

This meal soon became a fiesta as female students joined in after noticing celebrities eating on the streets. The celebrities were even kind enough to share the food with the onlooking students, despite their own hunger.This episode will air on September 19th 2009 at 08:00PM KST.Credits to Elly for the tip!

It was decided that the group DBSK is going to do the Shanghai concert. DBSK is planning to have a concert on October 2nd. “Over the weekend, we collected opinions from DBSK members, they said they are having the concerts in Shanghai, China as scheduled. “Many Chinese fans have already purchased tickets and the promise has meanings to us.”

[NEWS] DBSK Fans Make A Request For Compensation Of Losses To The Korean Consumer Agency

TVXQ fans, who are currently participating in a boycott against all SM Entertainment merchandises, have filed a request for Compensation of Losses to the Korean Consumer Agency for the indefinite postponement of the ‘SM TOWN LIVE 09′ concert that was supposed to happen on 16th August.

TVXQ fans went to the Korean Consumer Agency building in Seoul Seocho-gu to submit the request in person. 1249 fans who booked concert tickets online participated in the request.

Not only did TVXQ fans participate, but fans of other SM Entertainment singers such as SHINee, Super Junior and Girls’ Generation joined in as well.

One representative of DNBN, who led this request to the Korean Consumer Agency, criticized SME by saying, “TVXQ stated numerous times that they would attend this concert to keep their promise with their fans, and SM Entertainment also stated that the concert would go through as planned regardless of the exclusive contract dispute. However, one week before the concert date, SM Entertainment indefinitely postponed the concert absurdly claiming that the singers would not be able to show their unity and friendship because of what was happening with the trial.”

The fans are demanding that SM Entertainment release an official apology and return at least 10% of the ticket price as compensation for “physical and emotional pain the fans suffered through due to things such as the lost ticket cost, time and anticipation for the concert.”

TVXQ fans said, “This is not only a problem between fans and an entertainment agency, this is also a problem between consumers and a company,” and “We are not doing this just because we want our money back, we are doing this because we as consumers cannot sit idly by while a company comes and strips us of our rights.”

They also showed their disappointment and discontent by stating, “We consumers, who were the ones who lost money because SM Entertainment basically canceled the concert after all bookings for tickets were completed, at least tried to strike up talks with their side, but SM Entertainment completely ignored all of our attempts.”

TVXQ fans sent SM Entertainment a certification of contents on the 2nd that requested compensation for the canceling of the concert and was sent by those under the name ‘SM Concert Victims’.

They stated, “This is not the first time SM Entertainment has postponed a summer concert. In 2006, the agency postponed the ‘SM SUMMER TOWN FESTIVAL’, not because of problems with ticketing or funding, but because they wanted to ‘bring a higher quality performance’ and because of bad weather conditions,” and “Because SM Entertainment has been toying with its consumers, it is now time to put an end to this vicious practice.”

The Korean Consumer Agency worker who accepted to look over the request stated that, “We will be inspecting this case in the ‘50 complaints or more’ section,” and “When a staff is designated to oversee the process, we will investigate the happening closely and will settle on a just settlement for the victims of the situation.

One representative stated, “We do not receive complaints at such a large scale usually so we cannot predict how long this process will take,” and “But compensation and consequences will be decided after SM Entertainment proves to the Korean Consumer Agency that they had no choice but to cancel the concert.”

SM Entertainment released an official statement on their website last month stating, “We are very sorry for disappointing the fans who have waiting a long time for this concert,” and indefinitely postponed the ‘SM TOWN LIVE ‘09′ and set up refund methods.

[TRANS] TVXQ Fans Plan To Report SME To The Fair Trade Committee For Violation Of The Law Of Fair Transaction

TVXQ fans are planning to report SM Entertainment to the Fair Trade Committee for the violation of the Law of Fair Transaction.

DNBN, a TVXQ fan site, announced these plans on their notice board on the 6th under the title 'Information such as the Date and Time of Submission along with Updates Regarding the Fair Trade Committee'.

DNBN's side stated that, "The second round of petition collection has successfully ended," and "We will be submitting the petitions from the second round along with our report of SME to the Fair Trade Committee for the violation of the Law of Fair Transaction on the 9th at 1:30 pm. After wards we will be submitting these additional petitions to the Seoul District Courts."

Following this statement, DNBN also posted, "As stated in the certification of contents sent to SM Entertainment, if the agency does not reply to us by the 8th, we will be submitting a compensation of losses request form to the Fair Trade Committee on Wednesday the 9th at 1:30 pm and will be submitting additional petitions to the Seoul District Courts on the same day."

DNBN also plans to publish a newspaper advertisement supporting TVXQ. It said on the website that, "On the 10th, we plan to publish an ad in a newspaper," and "So that everyone can see it, we ask the fans to buy the newspaper in the evening."

It can be seen that the fans are taking many legal actions against SM Entertainment, the agency that is currently in a dispute with members of the 5-member idol group TVXQ.

On the 2nd, DNBN sent SM Entertainment a certification of contents containing 1222 names of fans who want compensation for the physical and mental damages acquired due to the cancellation of the SM Town Live '09 concert.

Also, TVXQ fans collected 121,073 signatures and submitted them on the 20th to the Seoul District Courts along with a petition that opposed the unfair exclusive contract between SM Entertainment and TVXQ, and submitted a petition to the National Human Rights Commission of Korea on the 28th.

[NEWS] 090902 U-Know Yunho’s Korea, Japan, and China fans Sent Wreaths of Wishes

Asian fans sent wishes to TVXQ group leader U-Know Yunho for a success in his acting debut. U-Know Yunho fanclubs including ones from Korea, Japan, and China showed their support for his debut as actor in ‘Heading to The Ground’ drama by sending wreaths to the drama meeting site.

At 2 pm, Yunho’s fans from 3 countries placed about 10 wreaths at Seoul Frand Hyatt Hotel in Hannam-dong which is the meeting site for MBC new drama series ‘Heading To The Ground’, along with their wishes for success of Yunho’s debut drama.

On the wreaths were put wishing messages such as “Hope ‘Manddang’ will be a big hit” and “Cha Bong-gun rules.”

Furthermore, to be able to meet Yunho some Japanese fans even waited outside the drama shooting site, which drew public attentions.

Kim Heechul voted best Gag Idol by Korean netizens

Super Junior's Kim Heechul has been voted by netizens as the best Gag Idol. This achievement came after a dcinside poll of 2,903 users from 25th August to 1st September, on which idol star had the best performing/variety genes.

With his 'pretty boy' looks, frank comments and 4-D thinking, Heechul won the poll with ease with 1,018 votes (35.1%). His talent was also widely acknowledged by netizens because of his outrageous cross-dressing, kissing another guy during a concert and his hilarious pictures on his Cyworld minihompy. Not really much of a surprise here.



In 2nd place was 2PM's Nichkhun who got 401 votes (13.8%). Despite his limited Korean language ability on variety shows, Nichkhun has been receiving lots of love from viewers thanks to his strong adaptability and cute appearance.



In 3rd place was 2AM's Jo Kwon (I thought he would give Heechul a run for his money!). Despite his usual sentimental way of singing ballad songs on stage, Jo Kwon's hilarious antics on variety shows has gained more attention from everyone, hinting that perhaps he is more suited for variety than singing. This is especially so after his outrageous performance in the Abracadabra parody, Dirty Eyed Girls music video.



Others who were on the list include Big Bang's Daesung, SHINee's Key, Super Junior's Lee Teuk and 2PM's Wooyoung.
