[NEWS] “Miracle” MC’s video msg to Kangin “Dont be depressed too much”

On the show KBS Drama “Super Junior’s miracle” which will be aired at 8PM on October 10th, MC Park Kyunglim, Lee Sooyoung, SJ Leeteuk, Eunhyuk & Shindong had sent a video msg to Kangin.

The members on the October 28th’s filming had said that Kangin is a “strong & patient person” and send support msg to him “It’s pity that we cant be together (on the show)”, “You cant be so depressed at time like this. Stop being depressed so much”, “I hope that you’ll come back soon”, “We’ll wait for you”.

Besides, Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk also revealed the story of him sending a msg to Lee Sooman to lighten the serious atmosphere about Kangin’s incident. He wrote “Sunsaengnim, I will give a good talking to him. Plz dont worry” and Lee Sooman sent a msg back to him said that “OK, I believe in all of you”, Leeteuk also imitated Lee Sooman’s voice which made everybody laughing.

K-Pop boy band Super Junior’s Kang In, who was booked for beating up a patron in a bar brawl a month ago, was booked again Friday for fleeing the scene after causing a traffic accident under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Police asked Kang to report to the police station Friday for investigation, but he had failed to appear by late afternoon. A police officer said they will summon him again.

How successful is ‘Infinitely Seoul’ CF that cost 339 billion won?

Early morning of 15th October, there was a girl named Kurosaki Ayano from Tokyo, together with three of her friends, who was shopping for souvenirs at a huge mall in Seoul station.

Kurosaki Ayano and friends decided to visit Seoul after seeing the ‘Infinitely Yours, Seoul’ CF on TBS. The scenes of Dong Dae Mun market and Dong Bang Shin Ki's performance had left a deep impression on her.

The advertisement Kurosaki Ayano saw was the ‘Infinitely Yours, Seoul’ Japan version done by Seoul City Council on June this year. It was an advertisement that Dong Bang Shin Ki was in. It is one of the four different versions used promoting Seoul tourism. Other advertisements include China, Japan, South East Asia and USA. These four different advertisements had cost 13 billion won, and 90 billion won go to the endless broadcast on all media of almost 20 different countries around the targeted regions.

Cassiopeia? That's what it looks like! Yoon Hae Jeong, a screenwriter of MBC recently announced that popular program Star Documentary will be making an episode for the ever-so-popular TVXQ/DBSK. Though the fivesome has undoubtedly shot up to top-tier fame internationally, this thirty-minute documentary will reportedly reveal the hidden stories behind the idol image of these so-called 'Rising Gods of the East'.

Of course, one cannot consider TVXQ without its enormous fanbase. Fun fact: Cassiopeia is singlehandedly the largest artist fanclub in the world; the Guiness Book of World Records reported 800,000 official members in 2008, and that's not even including the unofficial fans both in Korea and worldwide. And that's why MBC will be taking interviews from not only childhood friends and people close to TVXQ, but also getting in contact with fans in Korea in order to make this documentary "through the views and voices of Cassiopeia". As the screenwriter expressed, "We hope to tell the touching yet almost unknown story of how DBSK became Asia's top artist. We would like to include their stunning musicality that has been ignored due to their 'idol' status, their overseas activities, and each member's efforts, passion, sweat and tears to achieve his dream of becoming a singer."

MBC will be asking fans about which TVXQ stories to include in the story in order to faithfully express the warmth and love of Cassiopeians.

"Although it may be a stretch to create such a documentary about DBSK, especially in such a sensitive situation, but we believe that what everyone needs right now is a documentary like this," the screenwriter added in light of the recent controversies between TVXQ and SM Entertainment. "[W]e believe that a documentary that is filled with the love of the fans will be a great strength to the members to help them endure this situation."

So with that, the broadcast will reportedly be taking place later this week on the 23rd with interviews from the members themselves, teachers, close ones, trainees, composers, and of course, the ever-adoring Cassiopeia. Fans will most undoubtedly look forward to the never-before-seen pre-debut and overseas footage from their past years of fame.

It's incredible to see how important fans have become for idols these days. Gone are the days of fangirls sticking at home and merely spazzing over songs with their friends - from supportive (like the fan movement Hottests have taken for Jaebeom) to negative (SNSD Black Ocean, Super Junior Only 13 Movement), fans are proving to be an unprecedentedly powerful voice in the entertainment industry.

JeJung and YuChun are famous all over Asia as they are members of Tohoshinki, a 5 member idol group from Korea. Tohoshinki debut in Korea at 2004, and Japan at 2005. This summer, they have also successfully ended their 4th live tour concert at Tokyo Dome. JeJung was born in 1986 and is the lead singer in the group. YuChun was born in 1986 and is in charge of the bass and rap in the group. Leeteuk was upset when he wasn’t selected after the musical audition. “I went to the musical audition wanting to do well~ but the interviewer asked me to perform Jazz and i have no idea how to so i said ‘I cannot do Jazz but i can do locking’ and i failed.”

Leeteuk wasn’t embarrassed even after all the mocking by members, showing his passion for musicals he said “anytime as long as there is a chance i will want to take part in musicals”

As of today, 10/07/2009, Super Junior’s latest single in the Philippines has reached the #1 spot on the Myx Daily Top 10! “It’s You” garnered 12.75% of the overall votes for the Wednesday episode of the said chart show. This is big news not only for Filipino ELFs, but also for the Super Junior guys themselves and the rest of the SJ community! It has surpassed the songs “One Time” by Justin Bieber, which held the #1 spot for 9 consecutive days until yesterday (10/06/2009), and “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift, which is also consistent in holding high spots on the countdown. It was a very close call because “It’s You” and “You Belong With Me” only had a 0.33% difference – the latter earned 12.42% of the overall votes.

Super Junior has also surpassed other artists that used to be ahead of them such as 2NE1 and local bands Pedicab and Hale. Currently, Super Junior and 2NE1 are the only K-pop groups competing in the Daily Top 10.

To cut the long story short, Cha Bong Gun (Yunho) wanted to buy a laptop for his sister, Cha Byul (who is super adorable) who was celebrating her birthday. He ropes in his agent, Kang Hyebin (Go Ara) to help him in the selection but realizes that all the laptops are priced out of his reach.

While walking along the streets, they chanced upon a singing contest where one of the prizes on offer was a laptop. Bong Gun naturally signs up for it eagerly and also brings Hyebin into the picture although she is unwilling. Yunho being the slick dance machine of DBSK in reality, does a neat performance of his self-composed song, Checkmate while the reluctant Hyebin gives it her all, doing a gag version of BoA's Girls on Top which was really hilarious. And the hilarious performance wins the laptop prize!

Super Junior Kim Heechul will become a handsome delivery guy for a Jajangmyeon restaurant on 10th epsidoe of the SBS weekend drama “Loving you ten million times” which will be aired on October 3rd.

On this epsidoe, Kim Jeongja (Kim Cheong)’s son Leechul (Kim Heechul) will suddenly quit his study abroad which makes his family angry and comeback to Korea to become a delivery man for a Chinese restaurant. Wearing a mask and deliver jajangmyeon to his own house, Leechul has been pulled by the ear by his own mom.

In “Loving you ten million times”, Heechul has showed that he can act really well although he’s singer. Sa Mija said “Kim Heechul’s acting and vocalization is in fact quite good” and “he doesnt lack anything to be able to get bigger role”. Also, Kim Cheong & Bang Eunhee called him as “Our Hanllyu”.

Besides, on this epsidoe, we will see “kkotnam” delivery guy Leechul got a huge amount of scout from another Chinese restaurant since he can double the sale of his restaurant because of his handsome appearance.

Dream Concert will be held on October 10, 2009 at 6:30 PM at Seoul World Cup Stadium. Various artists will be participating, but it seems as though it will mainly be a battle between SM and YG Entertainments.

Dream Concert began in 1995 and continued every year, and this year will be the 14th year.

There will be total of sixteen artists participating in the Dream Concert which includes: Big Bang, Super Junior, SNSD, 2PM, SHINee, Jewelry, 4Minute, 2NE1, MC Mong, Chae Yeon, Whee Sung, Park HyoShin, Kara, T-Ara, f(x), and Kim TaeWoo.

SM and YG Entertainments have majority of idol groups in their hands. Caffe Bene, a premium Korean coffee franchise company, is currently conducting a survey on “which artist will have the best performance at the Dream Concert?” Today is the third day of survey, and already over 17,000 people have participated in the voting. On 28th September, Super Junior's Leeteuk was hospitalized while filming KBS "Miracle" due to a high fever.

Suju Shindong to be called “honey thigh”
Super Junior Shindong has been said to have a “honey thigh”.

On the show “MBC Sunday Sunday night” “Nodaji”, Shindong after learnt the “lion dance” has got a nickname “honey thigh”.

Together with 2AM’s Jokwon, in 1 second the person in behind had to climb on top of the knee of the person in the front and all awhile, he still had to keep his posture. However, after many times practice, Shindong still failed at that and thus, being got the humiliation.

Earlier today, TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki got together on stage to hold a concert at the Hongkou Soccer Stadium in Shanghai, China. Despite the turmoil, rumors of breakup, and lawsuit with SM Entertainment, the boys got together and put on a great show for the more than 30,000 fans in attendance.

On October 1st,during a recording of SBS's "Strong Heart", Super Junior member Leeteuk revealed accidentally that hip-hop artist/television MC Boom (Lee Min Ho) has a girlfriend now.
