[NEWS] Super Junior Sorry Sorry Japanese Version

On July 15th, Super Junior released their Japanese Special Edition album of "Sorry Sorry" and it debuted at Number 12 on the Oricon Daily Chart.

The special edition album includes a bonus DVD containing the MV of "Sorry Sorry," "It's You," and a special unreleased Dance Version. They also have the Japanese version of "Sorry Sorry" which you can listen to below.

It seems a lot of Korean male artists are releasing music in Japan and concentrating on that market, while the girl groups (besides 2PM) dominate in Korea. Super Junior seems to be really popular in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and China, but not so much in Japan. Maybe this can change things, thanks to Nocturne for the tip.

[NEWS] Super Junior's 20th Golden Melody Awards

Before bringing their The 2nd Asia Tour Super Show II to Taipei, fans of Super Junior will be delighted to know that their idols has been confirmed for the 20th Golden Melody Awards on 27th June. This will be Super Junior's 2nd time at the awards ceremony, having previously attended the 18th edition in 2007. It will however still be only 12 instead of 13 members of Super Junior who will be attending. Kim Heechul missed the 2007 trip because of filming commitments and this time, Kim Kibum will be the one missing because of his acting preparations.

Super Junior was undoubtedly honored to be invited again, especially since it's a significant milestone for the Golden Melody Awards which is into it's 20th year of running. They will be performing their new songs, It's You and Sorry, Sorry for the first time outside of Korea and handing out awards as well.

Pretty boy, Kim Heechul was pretty excited about his first trip to Taiwan, as his fellow Super Junior members and DBSK seniors have kept feeding him with information about how delicious the Taiwan delicacies were like Xiaolongbao and pearl milk tea. Heechul said, "I am definitely going to try out all kinds of Taiwan delicacies!" Other members who will be coming for the 2nd time have expressed their desire to challenge the legend of the spicy hot pot. They also hope to meet Patty Hou again, who had interviewed them twice last time. Eun Hyuk especially, refers Patty Hou as an angel.

[INFO] Super Junior kick 2NE1 and become the 1st

Group Super Junior’s ‘It’s you’ had taken 2NE1 off their 2 weeks consecutive #1 position on Mnet to take the #1 place.

Super Junior’s new hit ‘It’s You’ is #1 on Mnet chart for the 4th week of May. And the song is written by E-Tribe who also brought to us hits like So Nyeo Shi Dae’s ‘Gee’ and Lee Hyori’s ‘U-Go-Girl’.

2NE1’s debut hit ‘Fire’ has fallen to #2, but in terms downloads and MV views as compared to ‘It’s You’, it has a higher rank.

Super Junior’s ‘Sorry Sorry’ has also stayed on the chart for 12 weeks, at #8. At #5 for the chart is V.O.S ‘큰일이다’, which is #1 on the download charts for the week. The song is from their comeback album.

Also After School’s ‘Dream Girl’ is at #13 up 87 positions on the chart, and is at #7 on the download chart.

Super Junior's was revealed to the public on the afternoon of the 11th via various music portals, & will begin the second song promotions.

Under strong competition the final song decided upon , is the product of famous composer E-Tribe, & is an R&B & traditional European style dance tune. Also, Super Junior's four new songs will be included in the third album C Version, which is set to be released on the 14th.

The following song , & also member Ryeowook's self composed song , has also attracted the attention of everyone. , without reservation, expresses Ryeowook's composition of a strong Pop song, & member Sungmin's lyrics talks about the preparation of feelings when first love arrives, the sensible writing has also captured the attention of everyone.

[NEWS] Drama Version of It's You

It has become the talk of the town after Super Junior has released their latest MV It’s You (Neorago) on May 12th.

This set of MV was directed by Cho Soo Hyun and was filmed at the end of April in a studio at Ilsan and Puson, Kyeonggi. The concept is to tell the story of love in a short film.

The song gives the feeling of acoustic R&B mixed with easy-listening dance rhythm. This MV still shows various charms of the 13 members, which seems to have captured their fans’ eyes without a wink!

There are two versions of this MV – Drama and Dance versions. On May 15th, they will be releasing Drama version for the first time. In order to capture each member’s expression and move, the staff used special technique ‘Long-Take’ which uses a steady-cam to capture the whole movie (only one take, no cut). This increased the anticipation of the fans even more.

‘It’s You’ will be included in the 4 new songs of Sorry, Sorry Version C to be released on May 14th. Their comeback performance will be on May 17th at SBS Inkigayo.
