Dong Bang Shin Ki gets 3rd golden album from Japan Record Association, “More curiosity about group’s Japanese promotions in the future”

Japan Record Association recently announced, “Million single, album selling and acknowledge”. Dong Bang Shin Ki has been acknowledged for a golden disk by selling more than 100K copies of their albums ‘Five In Black’ in March, ‘Stand By You’ in July and ‘3rd LIVE TOUR 2008 -T-’ in August.

With that, more attention are raised as in what will the next step be for Dong Bang Shin Ki 3 members Micky YooChun, Xiah JunSu and Hero JaeJoong’s contract discord with SM Entertainment.

[NEWS] Super Junior is #1 on Thailand Channel V Asian Chart and B2S Top20Chart

Group Super Junior is #1 on Thailand Channel V Asian Chart for a record-breaking of 8 consecutive weeks.

Their 3rd album title song ‘Sorry Sorry’ is #1 through 8 weeks on the Thailand Channel V ‘Countdown Asian Chart’ from the 3rd week of April to the first week of June, setting a new record on the chart.

The chart tabulates its results from listeners requests (through internet sites and mails) and shows the popularity of Asian stars on the chart.

Also Super Junior’s 3rd album is #1 on B2S Top20Chart a week after its release in Thailand for the 1st week of June.

Meanwhile the boys are busy promoting their current hit ‘It’s You’ on various music programmes.

[NEWS] Where are you Kibum?

The recent release of Super Junior’s 3rd album lately, member KiBum (22) was not seen promoting the album title song ‘Sorry Sorry’ together with the rest of the group.

Netizens starting discussions on the internet about him ‘leaving the group’ or ‘because of his weight gain, he did not do promotions with the group’ etc. And lately, there has been many comparison of his photos about him gaining much weight going on on the internet.

The reason for his no-show was said to be that he was taking acting lessons. SM Entertainment said, “KiBum did the recording for Super Junior’s 3rd album too. There is not such thing as him leaving the group. He is currently taking acting classes, and hence he could not join the rest for the album promotions.”

“A while back, he filmed for LG OZ CF. Soon, he will be able to present to everyone himself in an upcoming good production.”

KiBum is the member in Super Junior with the greatest volume of acting activities. He took part in KBS drama ‘April’s Kiss’ in 2004, and then went on to SBS drama ‘Marrying a millionaire’, KBS2 ‘Rounding Off 2′, SBS ‘Snowflower’ etc.

Super Junior at Yamaha Motor Show

"Kibum, Kibum, where art thou? This was the question posed by many ELF as Kibum went missing from basically all of Super Junior activities since their comeback. This question quickly changed to elation as Kibum made a surprise appearance with the boys in Thailand. Thousand's of Thai ELF's were patiently waiting at the Yamaha Motor Show and All 13 Super Junior members showed up on stage. Super Junior then held a Q & A session with the hosts and said they were ecstatic to be in Thailand.

So where was Kibum all this time? I'm not certain, some say he had a sick relative in America and he went there to visit, some say he was too busy filming, while others say he was just resting. This isn't anything new as Kibum has notoriously rarely shown up with the boys. In any case, it's good to see him back and all 13 members together once again."

Super Junior is the # 1 KBS2TV Music Bank K-Chart

"Super Junior have gotten the number 1 position on KBS2TV Music Bank K-Chart after just 2 weeks of promotion. They had only just made their return to the K-pop scene with their new album and title track Sorry Sorry after a long absence for more than a year. The 27th March episode of Music Bank was the accumulated chart rankings for March with Super Junior up against fellow SM Entertainment colleagues, Girls' Generation Gee (Goodbye Stage today) and Seotaiji's Juliet. Super Junior eventually prevailed with a overall tally of 10,193 points. All of them were in tears with Lee Teuk especially emotional as he told fellow member Ki Bum (who was absent) that his hyungs have done it. Han Kyung also thanked the fans in Mandarin and Girls' Generation remained on stage at the end for the encore."

Super Junior Sorry Sorry is claimed as a plagiary of Womanizers

This is the silliest news that i've ever read about Super Junior. Netizens says that Super Junior is plagiarist of "Womanizer" by Britney Spears??? God Damn!! Can't you hear that song is totaly different??

"Netizens have been attacking Super Junior claiming that their latest single “Sorry, Sorry” is a rip-off of the song “Womanizer” by Britney Spears. Specifically, they claim that the repetitive use of the “sorry, sorry” hook in Super Junior’s song is way too similar in style to Britney’s “womanizer” hook in her song. A spokesperson from SM Entertainment stated that these accusations were groundless. He went on to say that it’s absurd that netizens are labeling Super Junior as plagiarizers if their only reason is because “Sorry, Sorry” has a similar type of repetitive ambiance as “Womanizer.”

I think this is obviously just another case of netizens starting shit because they’re bored and they have too much time on their hands. Super Junior shouldn’t be “sorry, sorry” for plagiarizing but they should be “sorry, sorry” for many other things like: tricking the public about losing weight, making questionable comments over the radio, or the worst of all, making out with other dudes on stage. I thought Super Junior’s actions this past year were a little shady and that was when they were not active. I’ll probably need a lobotomy to cleanse my brain after witnessing a year’s worth of Super Junior’s actions when they are active. "

This is a bit similiar like DBSK. The different is when DBSK's song, Mirotic, is truly the same like "Under My Skin" by Sarah Connor, only the language that can make that song different. But in this case (Super Junior and Britney Spears) there's NOTHING from both song is same. I can't believe that netizens can say like this.It's just an issue, forever i'll still believe in Super Junior

Getting to know Super Junior choreographer for the 3rd album

World-renowned choreographer Nick Bass is in charge of Super Junior’s “Sorry Sorry,” the title song from their anticipated 3rd album. He has worked with Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson, and has done choreography for Beyonce, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera.

With “Sorry Sorry,” it’s expected to have a perfect combination of sophistication and energy, and will introduce more quality to their staged performance.

Nick Bass directly met Super Junior in Korea last month and said, “I’ve heard that Super Junior is very famous in Asia and I was impressed by their humbleness and sincerity. Thanks to them, I had good memories in Korea, and I hope to work with them on their next album together.”

After 1 year and 6 months, Super Junior will make their 3rd album comeback with “Sorry Sorry” on March 12.
